Privacy Policy

This document explains how data is handled while you explore the demos on michaelTobia.com—a personal, non-commercial experience.

Personal project scope

This site is a personal portfolio and experimentation space operated by Michael Tobia.

Any authentication features exist solely to unlock demo experiences—for example, saving an AI conversation so you can pick it up later.

Information we collect

We do not run analytics, ad pixels, or behavioral tracking.

If you create a demo account, we store only the credentials and the demo content you submit (e.g., chat prompts).

Basic operational logs and occasional page view counts may be added in the future and will be reflected here if that happens.

How information is used

Demo data is used exclusively to power the feature you requested—things like persisting sessions, rendering resume edits, or debugging errors.

We never sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your information to third parties.

Data retention and deletion

You may delete your account or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@michaeltobia.com.

If you delete your account, all associated demo content is removed as well, aside from any server logs we are legally required to keep (currently none).

Third-party services

Convex and Better Auth are used for authentication and data storage. They act as processors on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes.

We may integrate optional services—such as model providers for AI demos—but only to the extent required to fulfill a request you initiate.

Questions

If you have privacy questions, reach out any time at hello@michaeltobia.com. Because this is a personal project, responses are best-effort but prompt.
